Chapter Five: Dealing with Little Black

Chu Ye initially felt that his plan was somewhat malicious and could potentially kill Xiao Hei. However, he also felt that as long as he maintained a proper balance, there shouldn't be any problems.

Xiao Hei was furious and kept chasing after Chu Ye. Originally, he was worried that Chu Ye might climb up the tree again, and if that happened, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Chu Ye ran towards the thicket of bushes.

Chu Ye also exercised restraint, only lightly touching the bushes.

In this way, even if the wasps inside are disturbed, not many will fly out; only a small number will.

Xiao Hei didn't care about Chu Ye's action at all. In its eyes, Chu Ye had just accidentally bumped into the branches of the bushes.

But when he reached this patch of bushes, dozens of large bumblebees suddenly flew out from it.

Little Black had no idea what was happening when dozens of bumblebees flew straight at it. Little Black was just a lion cub less than two months old and had no idea how dangerous these bees were.

He yelled at the bees, trying to scare them away. But the bumblebees wouldn't listen to Xiao Hei's yelling; they immediately attacked him.

Little Black was soon stung several times by bumblebees. Suddenly, Little Black felt intense pain in several places on its body.

It then realized how powerful these little bees were. So, it quickly ran back.

But the bees kept chasing it, and having no other choice, it darted into the nearby bushes. Only then did the bees turn back.

When Little Black sensed that there was no movement outside, it came out. But by then, it was wobbling and could no longer walk properly.

Chu Ye saw all of this very clearly.

"Oh no, Little Black is doomed."

Upon seeing Xiao Hei's appearance, Chu Ye felt that the poisonous bees' toxins must have taken effect on Xiao Hei.

"What should I do? Did I go too far? Am I going to kill Xiao Hei?" Although Chu Ye hated Xiao Hei, he didn't want to take its life.

Chu Ye quickly ran up to Xiao Hei.

After all, it couldn't understand that Chu Ye's previous actions had a special purpose. How could it know that Chu Ye was plotting to harm it?

Xiao Hei first staggered a few steps, then suddenly lay down on the ground and stopped moving, closing its eyes.

Generally, animals express friendliness by licking each other's bodies. The fact that Xiao Hei is willing to lick Chu Ye's body indicates that it is already willing to befriend Chu Ye.

Seeing that Xiao Hei had made up with him, Chu Ye called out to Xiao Hei a few times and then licked the places on Xiao Hei's body where it had been stung by wasps.

Little Black knew that Chu Ye had saved it, and it held a deep respect for him. Although he was young, it was already quite sensible.
