Chapter 93 Drawing
Chapter 93 Drawing
Li Hui was startled by the fleeting sharpness in Su Wan's eyes and quickly waved her hand with an apologetic smile:
"Oh, look how nervous you are! I was just curious! Don't worry, I know the rule against masturbating to your friend's husband!"
She tactfully took two steps back, her gaze shifting between the two men:
"Then I won't be a third wheel, I'll be going now! You guys... take your time!"
As she spoke, she practically fled the room, closing the door behind her.
Inside the room, Lin Feng and Su Wan exchanged a glance, both breathed a sigh of relief, and then couldn't help but laugh.
The two went out to the teachers' canteen and enjoyed a quiet breakfast.
Afterwards, they walked together toward the School of Social Sciences.
At the entrance of the teaching building, Lin Feng saw Vassim and Sato Ichiro waiting there, looking anxious.
Upon seeing Lin Feng, the two rushed over almost simultaneously, letting out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God, you finally showed up!" Wasim excitedly gave Lin Feng a hug. "We thought something had happened to you last night!"
Sato Ichiro nodded vigorously, his face filled with lingering fear: "Lin-kun, it's so good to see you again!"
Lin Feng felt a warmth in his heart and patted the two of them on the shoulders: "Thank you for your concern, I'm fine."
Unable to contain his curiosity, Sato Ichiro asked in a low voice, "Lin-kun, you didn't...stay at Instructor Su's place last night, did you?"
Lin Feng nodded and readily admitted, "Yes."
The two looked at each other and saw immense shock and admiration in each other's eyes.
Sato Ichiro lowered his voice: "Kunichi! It really is Hayashi-kun! I admire you! So... did you get any important information about clearing the game?"
Lin Feng straightened up and said in a low voice, "Yes, let's find a quiet place to talk after class."
........................
In the morning's experimental psychology class, although a few rules were triggered, fortunately, everything turned out alright.
As soon as the bell rang and the professor announced the end of get out of class, the six chosen ones arrived at the abandoned garden behind the academy.
The pale sunlight pierced through the perpetual mist, shrouding this desolate land in a lifeless stillness.
The orange cat was lying lazily among the weeds.
Lin Feng walked over, took out the dried fish he carried with him, and tore open the packaging.
The orange cat meowed happily as it finished eating, then lay down affectionately at his feet, enjoying his gentle stroking.
While petting the cat, Lin Feng lowered his voice and told his companion in detail what Su Wan had revealed about the deadly hidden rule in the abandoned teaching building on the back mountain.
"...That's the situation," Lin Feng summarized, "'We must go alone,' but destroying the core of the contamination 'requires at least three people.'"
After hearing this, everyone's faces drained of color, and they fell into a deep silence.
"Going alone means death, going with others also means death!" Vassim muttered, his broad shoulders slumping slightly. "This is just deliberately toying with us!"
"Perhaps... we should abandon this crazy plan." Amy unconsciously crossed her arms over her chest. "Trying to hold out until the dungeon ends naturally is a more realistic option."
"The evaluation might not be high, but at least... I can survive!"
Anna and Ichiro Sato nodded solemnly in agreement.
Wasim and Evelyn kept their lips tightly pressed together, not giving an immediate response.
Lin Feng's gaze swept over everyone: "Instructor Su will show me the map today. Whether there will be an opportunity depends on the specific situation after seeing the map."
"Until then, everyone should proceed according to plan and refrain from any rash actions."
Everyone nodded in agreement: "Okay!"
After agreeing to meet everyone at the library after lunch, Lin Feng turned around and quickly returned to the School of Social Sciences.
In the office, besides Su Wan, there was an older teacher and Li Hui, whom they had just met that morning.
When Li Hui saw Lin Feng, the corners of her mouth turned up slightly, and a mischievous glint flashed in her eyes.
Lin Feng walked straight to Su Wan's desk and spoke calmly:
"Counselor Su, I have some specific information to report to you regarding recent class management and student behavior. Is now a convenient time for us to discuss this in detail? We'd better find a quiet place."
Su Wan nodded calmly, casually picked up her notebook and pen and put them into her handbag, then instructed Li Hui:
"Huihui, I'm going out for a bit. If the director asks, please tell him for me."
The two returned to the same scenic lake as yesterday and sat down on the same bench.
Sunlight pierced through the thin mist, scattering across the shimmering lake surface and reflecting dappled golden light.
Before Lin Feng could speak, Su Wan opened her handbag, took out her notebook, and flipped through it.
On the blank page, I meticulously sketched it out.
Lin Feng composed himself and focused his gaze on the lines she was drawing.
In Su Wan's painting, the first thing that appears is the outline of the hill behind the school, and the barbed wire gate that is highlighted.
Behind the gate, the old-fashioned teaching building with all its windows made of non-reflective black glass was clearly drawn, exuding a sense of deathly stillness and eeriness.
"This is the entrance to the back mountain," Su Wan said, her pen pointing heavily to the iron gate mark on the map. "At least two puppets deeply corrupted by the 'Lord of Laughter' guard this place day and night."
"They possess keen senses, immense strength, and extreme hostility towards any unassimilated intruder!"
She changed the subject, and with a light touch, glided her pen to a section of the wall to the right of the iron gate, drawing an inconspicuous circle.
"However, there is a dog hole here, hidden by weeds, which is very well concealed."
"If we can find it, perhaps we can avoid direct confrontation and sneak in quietly."
Then, she moved her pen towards the interior of the teaching building.
"Upon entering the teaching building, the first floor mainly consists of abandoned classrooms and offices, but some ghost-like 'laughing nightmares' roam around inside."
"They will attack any intruder who doesn't smile indiscriminately."
Lin Feng frowned slightly: "So, as long as I keep smiling, I can avoid being attacked?"
"That's right." Su Wan nodded in confirmation.
The pen tip continued downwards, passing through the floors and entering the basement area.
Su Wan drew a huge, heart-like tumour pattern here, connected by countless blood vessels that spread out like blood vessels and penetrated deep into the ground.
"This is the core of the 'Lord of Laughter,' located on the second basement level." Su Wan's tone was tinged with apprehension. "The entrance to the underground is hidden in the security room on the far east side of the first floor—where a three-headed death hound lies dormant."
"It usually lies dormant, but if someone breaks in, even the slightest noise will immediately wake it up and it will launch a deadly attack."
Lin Feng's Adam's apple bobbed: "Is there any way to deal with it?"
"Yes," Su Wan raised an eyebrow, "if you can bring the orange cat from the academy."
"An orange cat?"
"It is actually an SS-class anomaly, a neutral unit, and is not bound by the academy's rules."
Su Wan tapped her pen on the simple sketch of the orange cat, "But its personality is extremely... arrogant. Getting its help is harder than climbing to heaven!"
Upon hearing this, Lin Feng couldn't help but make a face with a question mark on his cheek.
No, does it smell bad? It looks really nice to pet!
