Chapter 1330 - Strategic Phase
"Ten coordinates obtained!"
Chen Fei's staff team cheered.
This means that the strategic relationship between Earth and the "Sagara" civilization is no longer one of passive defense, and the Earthlings finally have the opportunity to take the initiative in attacking.
The initial "stargate" coordinates, plus the ten coordinates we have now, make a total of eleven coordinate points.
This is not just a breakthrough, but a major advancement.
In the internal power struggles within Earth, a single "stargate" coordinate is enough to destroy a sovereign power, let alone eleven, which would be enough to drive the invaded sovereign power to despair.
"Ha, those 'Sagara's' haven't even reacted yet. Let's go again. 'Adam,' send another fifty tactical jets over. I should have added a delay-rotation component and put it on the railgun to fire directly."
Chen Fei noticed the movements of the biological space motherships opposite the "Stargate," and only a few of them participated in the operation to intercept ten tactical jets.
The "Sagali" were completely baffled and had no idea what the sudden appearance of the tactical jets meant; they were probably still in a state of utter confusion.
Let alone "Sagarli", even his own people would be completely baffled by Chen Fei's strange actions and have no idea what this kid is up to.
Inside the cockpit of each tactical jet sits a robot, steadily holding a miniature "stargate" locator. Once it reaches the right position, a gentle twist is all it takes to send the positioning data back, requiring no additional design.
Compared to the coordinates of the "stargate" and its associated strategic and tactical value, the cost of a combat robot and a tactical jet is negligible.
Not long after Chen Fei finished speaking, the AI "Adam" thoughtfully designed an automatic rotating mechanism with two options. One was electronic, with remote control functionality, which would be deployed to the numerous communication cores opposite the "Stargate" to build a temporary communication network capable of covering a large area. Even if it wouldn't be used for long, it would at least be usable. The other was mechanical, with a simple and reliable countdown timer. Once deployed, it could be left alone without worrying about any form of electromagnetic interference.
Another fifty tactical jets carrying "stargate" locators rushed into the first "stargate." Before the large, transparent membrane, which had been torn to pieces, could recover on its own, it was damaged a second time. The formation roared into the distance, never lingering in combat, and doing everything it could to reach a greater distance.
Suspended above the "Tree of Life," ten large "Stargates" with diameters of over 300 meters were activated one after another, connecting to the other side where the "Sagarli" civilization was located. They began to project, and ten fully equipped airship combat groups, led by combat ships, rushed into the "Stargate" ring in a long line and disappeared into the "Boundary Bead" life space.
Thirty-one airships, including logistics ships, passed through the "stargate" in about five minutes. Carrier-based tactical jets and tactical bombers swarmed out, escorting their respective fleets into the "stargate" ring.
The initial mission of these ten spaceship battle groups was to cover the "Stargate" locators and gain more location coordinates. The mid-term mission was to release 20,000 "Starfish" to deplete the "Sagarli" civilization's biological space mothership fleet and create widespread chaos. The late-term mission was to gather as much detailed intelligence as possible about the "Sagarli" civilization's lair, while also covering the last wave of "Stargate" locators to lay the foundation for the subsequent counterattack.
Neither Chen Fei nor the staff team expected that these ten fully-equipped airship combat groups could severely damage the tens of thousands of biological space motherships on the other side of the "Stargate"—it was simply unrealistic.
The mission of the 310 cannon fodder ships is to prepare for the upcoming counterattack strategy; the better they are completed, the more ferocious the counterattack will be.
"Ten airship combat groups have reached 20% capacity and are expected to be fully operational within 3 minutes!"
"Near the 0.9 position in the South Zone 7, 76 biological space motherships changed their posture."
"Near position 1.1 in South Sub-7 zone, 11 biological space motherships changed their posture."
"Anomalies have been observed at location 1, zone 6, south of the main line, on biological celestial body number 1..."
"South……"
The airship formation that broke through the "stargate" used the star as the anchor point of the gyroscope, set the four directions of east, west, south and north, and defined the entire space as a huge sphere, with the equator as the zero line, the upper hemisphere as positive and the lower hemisphere as negative. The sphere was divided into 24 time zones, and the number after the "zone" was the distance to the surface of the star. This special setting provided navigation and positioning for all tactical units.
The 11 "stargates" initially projected were located in a corner of the southern region, about 1 million kilometers from the star, scattered along an invisible gravitational ring. The maximum distance between them was about 15 kilometers, which was exactly within the Lagrange point distance of the star. They were subjected to intense stellar storms while also absorbing a tremendous amount of stellar energy.
Biological object number 1 is the first coordinate obtained by the "stargate" locator number 007. It is a celestial body with a diameter of 1100 kilometers, with biological tissue on the surface and a rocky core with a diameter of 600 kilometers inside.
Number 1 is still a relatively small celestial body. The largest biological celestial body currently observed has a diameter of about 4000 kilometers, which is larger than the moon, the satellite of Earth. This is because it may have a massive core and even a thin atmosphere on its surface.
There are at least hundreds of such asteroid-like biological celestial bodies orbiting the star, with very close orbits to each other, yet they do not collide. Together with numerous biological space motherships, they completely obscure the star's energy. If you look at the star from a distance, you can see that its brightness is at least one order of magnitude weaker than it actually is.
Numerous biogenic asteroids and bio-space motherships form a kind of "Dyson sphere," extracting vast amounts of energy from stars to convert into biological resources. This suggests that the "Sagali" civilization is indeed more advanced than Earth's. At least so far, Earth's civilization has not been able to achieve the technology of a "Dyson sphere" to completely envelop the sun.
However, such a tight interception of stellar energy may have unpredictable effects on the entire star system. But Earth's civilization is not currently lacking in energy, so there is no need to develop a "Dyson sphere." Moreover, the "Sagali" civilization, which has long since left its ancestral homeland, can carry out large-scale interstellar migrations, while Earth is not yet capable of doing so and cannot bear the risks brought about by a "Dyson sphere."
Using metal trays and large-caliber railguns, 20,000 honeycomb-structured "star goby" embryo shells were quietly sent into the void, with the deployment direction set to other regions surrounding the star, where the biological space mothership fleet and biological celestial bodies still did not react.
Perhaps because 310 airships were not enough to threaten this place, and it was not worth it to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut, the "Sagali" only mobilized a small and insignificant amount of combat power to intercept the ten fully-strength airship battle groups.
Taking advantage of the fact that his opponents were not yet paying attention, Chen Fei quietly deployed nearly a thousand miniature "star gate" locators.
Even if only one-tenth of the locators achieve their purpose, it would be enough to give him the opportunity to continue with his next strategic plan.
According to Chen Fei and his team of advisors, at least 80% of the locators should be able to complete their missions successfully, and the hundreds of location coordinates obtained would be enough to turn the "Sagarli" civilization's lair into a giant sieve.
"Airship combat group, commence diversionary operations!"
After deploying most of the 20,000 "Starfish" embryos in the first instance, Chen Fei finally ordered the ten airship combat groups to unleash their full firepower and play their role as cannon fodder.
